Print PDF

The Lightning Tests Laboratory is well equipped to undertake lightning simulations for research, development and certification applied to aircraft and terrestrial structures. Studies include investigation of damage to mechanisms due to the lightning currents such as holes burned- through, conductor vaporization, as well as investigations of forces and induced voltage caused by electromagnetic coupling. Consulting and advisory works are also provided to manufacturers, designers, certifying and procuring authorities.

The laboratory has attained the certificate of accreditation AB107 issued by the Polish Centre for Accreditation
